The Solshaka surf scarf was developed out of pure necessity. Being a full time water woman married to a full time water man, equals heaps of sun and climate exposure. Whether we are hanging on the beach, surfing swells, or flying under a kite, we needed a product that would be functional and comfortable enough to wear all day, wet or dry.
No other traditional style 'Buff' or sun mask comes close to the 'patent pending' features of the Solshaka surf scarf. We believe it stands in a league of it's own with its large breathing vent, quick drying fabric, and custom moldable, adjustable nose band.
We spent countless, amazing sessions prototyping and developing the Solshaka surf scarf in Hood River Oregon, Namotu Island Fiji, and Baja California Mexico. We hope you will have as many epic sessions as we did, and will enjoy our product as much as we do!
Each Solshaka Surf Scarf is hand crafted from our remote East Cape, Baja Mexico residence, for 9 months of the year. All power used is solar and completely off the grid. During the additional 3 months, each piece is created, in our Hood River Solshaka studio.
